In order to ship (physically) paperwork or materials from the lab, you can do the following.

1) for printed matters / envelopes: you can purchase stamps yourself at a local store and use any mailbox, or go to the post office (and obtasin a receipt, possibly). In case you need express shipping ("posta celere," CAIPost), you need to go to the post office yourself, then save the receipt and have it delivered to the department admin office for reimbursement.

2)

3) boxes /fragile material, rush shipments. In case "posta celere" or CAIPost are not what you look for, maybe you prefer to ship things by courier. This is more expensive but safer and quicker. The courier our Department uses is DHL.

4) Shipping University INSTRUMENTS (like, for repair or for use by remotely located coworkers). Before doing this, please inquire with Bruno or Giampaolo. Procedures for shipment are the same as any other parcel, but an accompanying document signed by a University staff responsible person is needed and should be obtained from the admin office (Ms Mara Masi). Then include it safely with your shipment.
